Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is an FAQ section?
An FAQ section can be used to quickly answer common questions about your business like "Where do you ship to?", "What are your opening hours?", or "How can I book a service?".
  • Why are Australian Labradoodles expensive?
You truly get what you pay for. Our breeding dogs start at $12,000, even before testing. Each of our potential breeding dogs undergoes extensive health testing, including screenings for heart, eyes (CERF), thyroid, hips (OFA), PRA, PRCD, ID, elbows (OFA), EIC, DM, PennHip, and other genetic disease tests. Our fully health-tested parent dogs raise their puppies in our home, where we care for them as our own during their first 8-9 weeks. We spare no expense to ensure the puppies have everything they need for a happy and healthy start. This includes maintaining a clean living space, providing deworming treatments, microchipping, health checks, their first set of vaccines, and more. As responsible breeders, cutting corners is not part of our approach. We go above and beyond to ensure our puppies will lead happy, high-quality lives!
  • How much are your puppies and what is the process?
Our puppies are $3,500 plus tax, on a spay/neuter/non breeding (a vasectomy or ovary sparing spay are acceptable and encouraged) agreement. Our reservation fee is a non-refundable $500 which will hold a spot on the litter of your choice. We accept 5 deposits on each litter prior to being born and will start a waiting list for any additional puppies after they're born. Half of your remaining payment ($1,500) is due when puppies are one week old, and the other half of your payment ($1,500) is due by the time puppies are five weeks of age. Reservation lists fill fast and are normally fully booked 6-9 months in advanced, our spaces cannot be reserved until the fee has been received by us, since we receive so many inquires. We cannot hold spaces without a deposit.
  • What is your selection process?
We prioritize matching puppies based on temperament above all else. While we’ll consider your preferences for size, color, and gender, we cannot guarantee an exact match every time. For instance, I wouldn’t want to place the most energetic puppy with a family seeking a therapy dog, or a more reserved puppy with someone looking for a running companion. Personality is key, so while your preferences are important, we'll work together to find the best fit for your family. If I don’t believe a puppy is the right match, I’m happy to transfer your deposit to the next available litter. We dedicate as much time and care to the first family on our list as we do to the last, so no one "just ends up" with the last puppy!
